Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts Occassions Mini Blog Hop! I'm so happy you're here. There are 25 very talented stampers in this hop, all showing off projects created from the soon to be released Occassions Mini Catalog. This catalog will go live January 4. If you are following the circuit you just arrived from Kim's blog - Stitchn N Stampin on Paper. Her Sew Suite projects are just the bomb! She's an uber talented stamper and seamstress - this collection is a perfect fit for her. If this is your first stop, no worries! You can jump in the hop anywhere then follow the links to the next blog. Of course if you're one of *those* people, you can also do the hop in reverse ;)
My projects feature an adorable stamp set called Button, Button. It's part of the Sew Suite collection and has 17 different button images. First up is a card for mom. Yes, I know, but Mother's Day is not so far off! A popped up Mom focal point and a lovely ruffled ribbon make this a card any mom would appreciate. And since my mom's favorite color is blue, she'll be getting this one.
Cute as a button you say? Of course, these buttons make for an adorable baby card! Stamping smaller images, like the buttons, are an easy way to create your own background paper. You can choose the color combo to perfectly coordinate with your project.
Ready for some no calorie sweets? I thought peppermint as soon as I saw this swirled button image. Real Red craft ink, some clear embossing powder, a little coloring and you've got yourself a yummy guilt free treat.
My last project for your viewing pleasure today is a super fun scrap page. When I thought buttons and circles, Mickey just came to mind. This little bear is sporting a Mickey costume, complete with white embossed buttons on his pants. The page is highlighted with punched circles that are each stamped with button images. Do you have the Mickey Mouse Club theme song in your head yet? M-I-C....
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you enjoyed the projects and found a little inspiration. Stop by starting Monday for details on all these projects.
Wanna win a little blog candy? Just leave a comment before midnight Sunday. I'll draw one name on Monday. The winner will receive a button sampler and the Peppermint card.
You're now ready to hop on over to Tanya's blog Tinkerin In Ink. She's got some Sew Suite accessories to show off.
