Ideas for Marking Heights

Thoughts and Prayers Tree

  

I put up my Thoughts and Prayers Decor Element tree today. It was so easy to put up! I was a little intimidated since it comes in multiple pieces, but since it has no tiny pieces it was easy to work with. I have the Create definition on my basement wall and it was more time consuming due to all the letters and punctuation. The tree is in my dining room which is painted a sage green. I chose the large Chocolate tree to coordinate with the wood elements in the room. This wall has been tricky to decorate since it is the path from the front door to the kitchen. The Decor Element tree fits perfectly since it's flush on the wall. I really like how it looks. I may add some small frames of family pictures to the branches at a later date.

Happy Birthday

To me! Yep, today is my birthday. I decided to treat myself to some fun new stamping goodies that should be arriving tomorrow. One of my new purchases includes the beautiful Thoughts and Prayers Decor Elements Tree. I'm planning on putting it up in my dining room. Marker Thumping

I love techniques! This card was for a technique swap and shows off a marker technique called Marker Thumping. It gives a mottled look to your image. In this card, the sentiment and center circle are thumped. I first inked the images with Sage Shadow ink, then lightly tapped the image with a Not Quite Navy marker, then stamped.
