Sorry for the delay in blog posts! It's summer break and the and I have been enjoying some freedom. Normally I spend my time making cards and gifts, but when my sister asked me about helping her create a scrapbook for my parents' anniversary I could hardly say no :) Scrap pages seem to ask for more details and elements than cards do. I still stuck to my clean and simple style, but I had fun incoporating more elements than I'm used to working with.
This is the opening page in the book - their wedding photo. "Happy" is embossed in white, then I sponged around it with Bashful Blue to make it stand out more. The other words are stamped in Bashful Blue. The photo doesn't do it justice, but the photo corners are made from Shimmery White cardstock. It's lovely in real life. I used the Pretties Kit to create the flower medallion. The center flower is inked with Bashful Blue ink, then layered. The hat pin is secured by threading it through one of the Clear Rhinestone brads. I hope you enjoy seeing one of my few scrap pages!
